Comment Policy

I love comments…but only if they are constructive to this blog. By that, I mean that I expect all comments to be related to the blog post somehow, no off-topic chatter. I also expect that you’ll not post mean, nasty, malicious comments here, either. Disagreeing with something I say is one thing, being an assclown about it is another.

Spam of any kind is also not tolerated here. Most of my comment spam is caught by a nifty WordPress plugin called Akismet, which works really well. But I reserve the right not delete any comment that I deem to be spam, including those from people who work for that horrible *pay-to-comment-spam* company. I get no money from those links, therefore, I will NOT allow them to be here.

On the other hand, comments here are DO-FOLLOW, which means that if you leave a comment, you get a backlink. I do this as a public service to LEGITIMATE bloggers out there, because we all like to help each other out to get better Page Rank and all.

However, I have a plugin that lets me turn off DO-FOLLOW on a case-by case basis. You can find it right HERE if you’d like to install this on your own WordPress blogs. So, if I’m not sure whether or not you are here to spam me, I can make your comment NO-FOLLOW just like that. Therefore, your comment spam is USELESS.

The first time you comment here, it will be put into the moderation queue. Once I see that you’re not a troll, spammer, or assclown, I will approve it, and after that, you’ll be able to comment without moderation. That is, as long as you behave yourself! I reserve the right to ban anyone who is abusive in any way.
